Instructions
This assignment is a classical research paper; you will be expected to think of ways to back up your thoughts and beliefs with peer-reviewed research.
Paper Purpose
Your research paper in this class should demonstrate that you have considered a topic in social work, researched it, and written deeply on the topic using formal, college-level writing skills. As some of you may have never taken a college class this might be your first experience of writing this way, but this paper is broken down into stages so that as long as you work hard you will do a good job.
Paper Topic
Your paper should link two related ideas in social work/social issues. How does high school quality impact later life achievement? What reasons contribute to the lower educational achievement levels of foster youth? What are the links between mental illness and homelessness?
