Why do you think elder abuse is so common and normalized?
Abuse is a pattern of behavior – how can trusted relationships participate in an abusive pattern of behavior? Please give examples from the documentary.
Elder abuse is not discussed nearly as much as abuse perpetrated against other people. Why do you think this isn’t a topic for diligent discussion in the United States? What does this say about our culture and how we view our elders?
