Be sure to clearly indicate which analytic frame / method you will be using and why you selected it.
Within your analysis, be sure to consider the following:
Background: Where did the technology come from? Who was credited with its invention? Any hidden figures / missing links?
How did this technology’s creation context influence its design? / How did the historical, geographic, cultural, or technological landscape co-shape your technology of choice?
Provide examples of the technology being used in different places by different cultures to help strengthen your argument.
What possibilities does your technology open open? What does it deny? For who?
Should this technology be changed? If so, how / why? (think through VSD principles)
Does this artifact have politics?
