a) This assignment is a research presentation, not a research paper.
i) Use bullets for your verbiage.
ii) Do NOT use full prose (complete sentences), even if you plan to narrate the data.
iii) Condense your data into short, highly descriptive bullets (ie NOT prose).
iv) You may use one, short, highly descriptive introductory paragraph of prose on your slides, but it must then immediately transition to bullets to further explain your paragraph of prose.
b) Use a slide design that enhances your topic.
c) Every slide MUST contain a graphic associated with the data on that slide. No slide should only contain verbiage.
d) The total presentation must contain a minimum of seven (7) slides. Missing slides: -½ grade
e) Presentation Runtime Length: > 3 minutes long but <= 10 minutes. -½ letter grade. Have your slides run faster than normal so I can see the entire presentation in a shorter time. f) Use visual effects including animating your data bullets at multiple levels. Your grade depends on your research AND your command of PowerPoint. g) Insert a sound file/music that runs throughout the presentation; missing-1 full letter grade. i) Recording your voice narrating part/all of the presentation will add credit. ii) Adding video that starts and ends automatically, will add credit. h) Must contain slide transitions between slides. -½ letter grade I have also included a Management Summary.
