Procedure Research
For 10 extra credit points, on a one-page word document choose, research, and write about a procedure from Chapter 11-Circulatory system. Must include the PCS code for the procedure of your selection.
The first paragraph should introduce your topic (procedure) including the medical indications for the procedure you have selected to write about.
In addition, describe how the procedure is performed including intraoperative steps undertaken by the surgeon to meet the objective of the procedure.
The body of your paper should go into detail about the PCS coding for your procedure selection.
You should describe each of the seven characters and your rationale including PCS guidelines, to why you selected the PCS values you have chosen.
In your conclusion, reflect on every aspect learned from your research including how your PCS code (s) captures the objective for treating the medical condition (s). As with any scholar research paper, please add your references on a separate additional Word document page. Don’t forget to include in-text citation where needed according to APA guidelines.
