Prevention of Disease

As Inaba and Cohen (2014) have argued, “communicable diseases start slowly, eventually raging through the most susceptible segments of a population.” They go on to describe that the rest of society usually has a sense of false security, thinking that this is not their problem; however, communicable diseases are ultimately part of a larger systemic issue.
