Thank you for your application to the University of Leicester’s MBA Programme. In order to proceed further with your application you will need to complete the MBA Admissions Assessment.
The MBA Admissions Assessment is designed to assess your suitability for the MBA programme. Part 1 involves multiple choice questions which test your knowledge of the English language. Part 2 is a 400 word essay which asks you to reflect on your work experience. You will then need to discuss this work with one of the teaching team on the MBA during a Welcome Conversation. The assessment costs £40 and you have up to 2 hours to complete it. Once completed, the outcome will usually be communicated to you within 5 working days. Once you have completed the MBA Admissions Assessment. The next step will be to organise a 30 minute welcome conversation. You can do this by booking on our online form.
During the welcome conversation your MBA Admissions Assessment will be discussed but this will also be an opportunity for you to find out more about the course. It will also involve some discussion of the following areas:
Your reasons or motivation for studying the MBA
Your understanding of leadership and management as concepts and exploring your relevant work experience
Your perceptions of the challenges of successfully completing an MBA programme by distance learning
