For this assignment you will be evaluating children’s books based on the rubric that is shared with you.
For each section in the book, regarding different genre or topic, you will choose 3 books to do an evaluation on. Using the rubric provided you will evaluate the books accordingly.
When choosing books, please keep in mind:
Lists that are provided in each chapter related to genres and types of books
Age range. Be sure to choose:
1 book for ages 3-5 years
1 book for ages 6-8 years
1 book for ages 9-12 years
After you have your 3 books chosen, please evaluate based on the rubric that is provided. Each book with have 1 rubric filled out for it.
Multicultural evaluation: Every book can be evaluated for this, pick 1 of the 7 from Seven Ways to Evaluate on Multicultural.
You will turn in for this assignment:
3 rubrics, one for each book
Making sure to answer all sections, if left blank, you will lose points.
