Content (8.5/10) & Analysis (8/10) & Grammar (2/5)
Different studies were brought together and discussed in detail. Nevertheless, the language was ambiguous due to considerable grammatical errors, and that some details were inaccurate or missing. The topic was mostly relevant and description accessible to a general audience. The paper, however, failed to clarify the main thesis. Structure was generally clear though compromised by a lack of transition between paragraphs. The paper had some good ideas of analysis though weakened by poor grammar and could have used more thorough arguments. Visiting the writing center, having peers reviewing the paper, and proof-reading are suggested methods that could greatly improve the paper’s writing.
Format (3/5):
In-text citation did not follow the proper format (sentence punctuation should be put behind parenthesized citation, and year of the citation shall be included). Title page should have included the instructor name and been in APA format. The reference page should have been titled “References” in stead of “Works Cited”. References were formatted correctly.
