How does the Mockingjay evolve as a symbol in each of these 3 parts? Explore how different mutations are introduced into the text, what it is, and how it functions in the lives of different characters in the novel, and how it expresses the relationship between power and revolt.
Each section should include an analysis of Katniss and a consideration of 2 additional characters in relation to the key symbol.
The sections need to address one aspect of setting.
Each section should explore the role of a key gift.
The essay should locate and explain a key catalyst in each section, and it should explore how this moment in the novel contributes to the symbolic importance of the mocking jay.
