Write a detailed overview (essay) that traces the evolution of the modern banking system from the Middle Ages (aka Medieval Times, from the 5th to the 15th Century) to the present time (late 1900’s into early 2000’s).
This evolution can contain the history and timeline (detailed or an overview), it can also include the Federal Reserve System, the US Central Bank, and other related financial institutions. Your overview may be focused on early history and conclude with the development exclusively in the United States, or it may be more of a general overview, including international banking systems.
