Using two to three authors (note that these are “authors” not “readings”, so Augustine would be one author, Matthew would be another) from the common readings (that is, The Core Reader), write a 3-5 page paper explaining how these readings represent one of the following four fundamental claims of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition (CIT). This essay should be 3-5 pages, double spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt. font or similar, and MLA style. Do Not Use Outside Sources (especially the Internet).
Human beings exist in relation to a Triune God.
God’s presence in the world is mediated through nature and reality.
Faith and reason are compatible.
The dignity of the human being is inviolable and the commitment to justice for the common good is necessary.
