Based on our discussions in class, please select one business discipline from the choices below:
Entrepreneurship and Starting a Small Business
Research the topic selected in item # 1 above and develop a thorough analysis of the subject so that you can present a 10 Minute Presentation to the class during Student Presentation Days from 5-4-22 to 5-9-22. Please note that all Students must be prepared to present by the first session on 5-4-22. The order of Student Presentations will be random, and if you are selected and not prepared to present, you will receive a 0 for the Project. Your work product must include the following:
A research paper totaling a minimumof 1,800 words (approximately 3 single spaced typed pages) that must include a “Works Cited Page” at the back end of your paper, which does not count toward the minimum word requirement. Your paper must be typed, not cannot be handwritten. Your printed paper must be submitted as hard copy in class on 5-4-22.
For the chosen topic, you need to expand upon the basic concepts discussed in class, hence where the research comes in. Just repeating what we discussed in class on the topic will not be sufficient. Beyond this requirement, Students have academic freedom in terms of how they would like to approach the topic.
An in-class Presentation for a minimum of 10 Minutes, but not to exceed 15 Minutes.
You must be prepared to answer questions posed by either classmates or the Professor.
A PowerPoint document summarizing your work to support your in-class Presentation. You are not permitted to present without the PowerPoint.
Students are reminded that this project counts for 20% of your overall grade.
