Thinking back to the information about the oral tradition, consider what makes these stories special in the way they are told generation after generation. Answer both of the following questions using specific examples from this week’s readings:
1. Which story did you imagine most easily was told in the oral tradition from this week’s reading and what specific characteristics about it made you think about it in that way?
2. Pick a different story did and talk about how it revealed aspects about the culture that it came from. What were specifics in the story that lead you to connect that story to the culture it came from?
