Signs “High- School Confidential: Notes on Teen movies” pp. 510-515
Using Denby’s description of stock character types in teen movies as your critical framework, analyze the characters in teen TV programs, such as Friday Night Lights or One Tree Hill. You are not restricted to writing on these shows–just be sure to choose something similar.
Sidenote: I need a writer that is very good with transitional sentence. Feedback my Professor gave me from my previous writings :Your paper begins to explore your topic .Having said that, there is still work that needs to be done: Your
introduction needs editing and refinement for clarity. For example, this paragraph contains a sentence
fragment. Moreover, you want to continue working on your topic/transitional sentences. Keep in mind that
these sentences need to reference the previous paragraph, state the main point of the new paragraph and also
reference the thesis.
2. You paper offers some very nice ideas and analysis. A few things: You want to leave some space between
your title and your first paragraph. You also want to indent your paragraphs 5 spaces and not 10. Your topic
and transitional sentences also need clarification and refinement.
3.Your paper begins to explore your topic. Having said that, there are still areas that need work: You want to
clarify your main points and then argue them in the order that you have them listed in your introduction. You
will want to continue to working on crafting strong topic/transitional sentences. A strong transition will
reference the thesis, previous paragraph and also state the new paragraph’s main point. At this point your topic
sentences don’t contain your main points.
