When high school student Paige Hyland takes a summer job a tour guide at the historic Harper House, she expects nothing more than a few months of easy money. But when a guest is found dead in the house’s basement, Paige finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery. As she tries to piece together what happened, she discovers that the house’s dark history may be coming back to haunt her. With a killer on the loose, Paige has to find out who killed the guest before she becomes the next victim. Paige is also supposed to find the killer of the guest before she becomes the main suspect. The original short story should be written in the perspective of the killer.
