After reading Steven Pinker’s “The Case Against Single-Sex Classrooms” article, take a stand on the following issue:
Single-sex classrooms
The introductory paragraph should start with a summary of the article you read, and it should end with an argumentative thesis statement that clearly expresses your stance.
Body paragraphs should each begin with a clear topic sentence and should be filled with evidence that directly supports it. Evidence may come from both the reading and your own brain.
A concluding paragraph should wrap your argument up and end with a broad, universal truth to be learned from the essay.
You should not write in first person (I, me, my, we, our).
You should avoid second person (you, your).
The essay should be approximately 1-2 pages.
