For this Research Paper assignment, you will write 3-5 pages in which you argue a thesis, based on research you conduct.
There are 4 drop boxes designed to help you through this process. Earn points as you work toward the final draft. Submit assignments as follows:
1. For the first drop box, submit one sentence that will be your statement of intent to argue for or against a science issue related to one or more of the topics we have studied in class. You can also write about a topic related to your college major or program of study. Include a note about the origin of your idea. In other words, tell me what is in your personal experience that inspired your topic idea, or which of the assorted readings inspired your topic idea. Please do not recycle papers from high school.
2. For the second drop box, submit your sources in APA format as a list. You may have one source that was provided for class, but your other sources should be materials – books, essays, articles, etc. that you have found in the SUNY Erie Library, perhaps with the help of our course librarian. Sources that are disallowed include blogs, Wiki sites, .com or commercial sites. A total of 3 sources is required.
3. The third box will be composed as you begin to write your paper. Show 3 examples of in text citations according to APA format that you will use to corroborate your ideas as you argue your thesis.
4. The final box will be the paper itself. You will find this in Module 6. It should be 3-5 pages with at least 3 in text citations (one or more from each source) including the last page, your reference list of the 3 sources you used.
5. All student must use APA style. This APA Style Blog, supported by students, may be helpful as you write your paper.

years and in the past two years mental health has become a more severe issue to
our society. Covid-19 has set mental health to an all time high which includes
depression, anxiety and also has caused obsessive compulsive disorder for many
