Due Thursday
This week you learned about how to manipulate radical expressions. You learned how to simplify, multiply, divide, add, and subtract radical expressions.
Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
* Conduct an internet search to find one career that uses radical expressions in their job. How do people in this position use radicals? Provide an example in your explanation.
Due Monday
Post 2 fifty word replies to classmates or your faculty member. Be constructive and professional.

One career that uses radical expressions is Aerospace engineer. I was able to find form my own understanding based on a text book explanation of how Parachute Manufacturers use radical expressions when making the parachutes.
“Manufacturers must make careful calculations to ensure that their parachutes are large enough to create enough drag force to allow parachutists to descend at a safe speed, but not so large that they are impractical. Radical equations can be used to relate the area of a parachute to the descent speed and mass of the object it carries, allowing parachute designers to ensure that their designs are reliable.”
If I relate this to aerospace engineers the same needs remain. When building aircrafts or spacecrafts they need to make sure the way they are built to withstand the requirements of the mission they can relate the size of the aircraft to the descent speed and mass of the object and/or occupants. Radical expressions could account for takeoffs as well as landings.
There are others with similar processing similar to parachuting, and Aerospace such as architecture.

After doing the internet search I learned that many jobs use radical expressions to aid in their daily activities. The most obvious occupations that use radical expressions are engineers and architects. Engineers and architects rely on radical expressions for measuring and predicting measurement outcomes. I learned that Biologists use radical expressions for the their experiment calculations. According to https://sciencing.com/how-are-radical-expressions-rational-exponents-used-in-real-life-12751906.html Biologists compare animal surface areas with radical exponents for size comparisons in scientific research. It seems that radical expressions would help hypothesize their experiments when trying to figure out outcomes. I fell all of us have needed to use radical expressions at one time or another in our lives but maybe just did not know how to apply it. I think I would have needed to use a radical expression when trying to figure out finances and future financial plans. These probably would have let me come to a conclusion quicker than the route I took to figure out the information I wanted to know. It is interesting to learn the many ways these are used in day to day life within certain c
