incoming freshman

You are writing a letter to an incoming first year college writer. The goal of the letter is to reflect on something significant that you learned as a result of this class. It may be directly related to college writing or it may be a more general learning attached to being a first-year student.
Requirements of task:
You will be graded on the connections you made between your experiences and the learning objectives of the class (see syllabus). You need to pull in the scholarship from the course: Yagelski, Graff, ACRL framework (see Bb). If you choose to discuss the broader experience of being a first year then you will need to make connections to ideas from Student Affairs or another campus unit, including the library.
