You will need to investigate and analyze at least 30 lines of poetry (this could
include one poem longer than 30 lines – if a poem is longer than 30 lines, you are
expected to analyze the entire poem – or a few poems from that same author that
combined are at least 30 lines) and discuss specifically how the ideas in the poem/s
align with the Victorian themes and how they are quite different than those of the
Romantic writers. Your paper needs to use short quotes from the poems as you
support your thesis statement.
