I have to write an odyssey essay. First I need to write about my topic (inequalities in the music industry, ex. pay rate) and why I’m curious about it. Then, I have to write what I know and then what I want to know. Then I have the odyssey part which is the story about how I did my research and what surprised me. This part will be the bulk of the essay. The last part is about what I learned and what were the main takeaways. I need 6 sources, 2 have to be academic and 1 has to be an interview. I don’t need to worry about the interview until later.
