Nevada History Final Essay

In 2003, historian Hal Rothman proclaimed Las Vegas the first American city of the twenty-first century, a “place where desire meets capital, where instinct replaces restraint, where the future of a society, for better and worse, takes a form that had been inconceivable even a generation before.”
In the decades since Rothman penned those words, Las Vegas has continued to reflect the shifting realities of Nevada. Referencing the lectures, readings, and primary documents, describe the unlikely rise of southern Nevada’s postindustrial economy from the Hoover Dam to the present. As Nevada enters the third decade of the 21st century, do you think Rothman’s words continue to hold merit?
I would like this essay to be good enought that I get at least a B on the essay, as well as having the essay look like it was made by a college student. If possible, please have one of the lecture slides cited.
