From Prompt “The essay must develop an original argument about either Dante’s Divine Comedy on a topic you chose in consultation with me. You should strive to make your topic focused enough that you are able to do justice to it in the space allotted. No big issues like Dante’s God or the concept of evil!”
Another important part for the essay “Once you have identified a topic for your annotated essay, the next step will be to locate secondary sources(books and articles) which you can use as points of departure in developing your own argument. Your assignment is to come up with a list of at least four sources which you will be entering into conversation with in your essay; at least one of these sources must be a book, and at least one must be an article. Please present your list of sources in a type bibliography which follows MLA format for Works cited.
