Prompt for Paper 4 (Research Paper)
For this paper, you will identify a problem, issue, or challenge that you are likely to encounter on the job in your chosen career or field of study and write a four-page documented research paper in MLA format that provides strategies for mitigating, managing, or productively dealing with these challenges and issues.
Language
Stay in third person, meaning you won’t say things like “I think that…” or “You can see that…”
Keep your language formal (avoid slang, contractions, and the like).
Formatting and Mechanics
For format, use MLA style, as explained in the lectures.
Make sure that you proofread your paper carefully before turning it in.
Length
The rough draft and the final draft of this paper should be 4-5 pages long. This means that the paper should start on page 1 and run through at least the end of page 4.
There will be a Works Cited page after that with at least four sources, as specified above.
