Students are to select one of the six major nonprofit sectors below and develop an analysis of that subsector in the United States. The analysis should include a general overview of the sector’s historical and theoretical development (citing key milestones and formative and current theories most strongly contributive to its existence today), a description of its scope, and major social change goals. The paper should also include distinguishing features of the nonprofits in that subsector, including some of the unique challenges, characteristics, policy issues, limitations, functions, and/or inter-sectoral dynamics, as well as highlight any trends in currently implemented innovative programs and/or outcomes. The final analysis should be approximately 2 single-spaced pages with one-inch margins and incorporate at least four scholarly references in ASA citation style where appropriate. It is recommended students select the same subsector for both analysis and presentation
