Caste Book Instructions:
You must read Isabel Wilkerson’s Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, our 2022 Common Book. In addition to reading the book, you will need to write a reflection paper of 4
pages. Furthermore, you must select 3 U.S. civil rights topics from the list given in. Analyze how the book help you further understand your chosen topics. Additionally, you must reflect and connect your chosen topics to economic, societal, and/or environmental sustainability in the United States.
Your paper must be properly typed: 12-size font, double-spaced, in paragraph form, with complete
sentences, and one-inch margins. Use the Chicago style of writing when citing sources. You must also
provide a separate title page—title of your paper, name, course, date, and your professor’s name. Finally,
be sure to include a works cited page when citing sources.
